NSR Rule for Fine Particulate Matter On May 8, 2008 U.S. EPA issued the much awaited New Source Review (NSR) Rule for Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5). A&WMA's newest Webinar "A Small Problem: The New NSR PM2.5 Rule" provides an overview from the experts on the significant implications and challenges presented by the new rule. Permits will take longer to process as the new rules are implemented across the country. Affected facilities will need to budget for and implement more stringent levels of pollution control. Sources that trigger “major” new source permitting requirements for PM2.5 will have to obtain “emissions offsets” for PM2.5 emissions, as well as “PM2.5 precursor” pollutants, including NOx and SOx, pollutants emitted by all sources that combust fossil fuels (natural gas, diesel fuel, oil, coal). Learn about the new rules and avoid project delays. Some of the more important Key Provisions of the New Regulations to be addressed during the Webinar include:
Join industry leaders Ken Weiss, Principal and Global Air Practice Leader, ERM; Gary McCutchen, Principal, RTP Environmental; John Paul, Administrator, Regional Air Pollution Control Agency; and Raj Rao, Group Leader, NSRG, QAQPS / AQPD, as we explore all aspects of the PM2.5 challenge in our exciting interactive webinar format on August 27, 2008!
