Online Conference to Address Anticipated Changes to the Emissions Estimates for Stationary Sources of Pollution

Pittsburgh, PA (October 30, 2006) - Changes are anticipated for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's development and use of emissions estimates for stationary sources of air pollution. What role will EPA have in the development and compilation of emission factors? How will these anticipated changes affect the roles of industry and state and local agencies? • Gary Saunders, of the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources, who will discuss state agency concerns with the development and use of such factors for indicating compliance with permit requirements and emission limitations.
