Advanced PSD/NSR Workshop Series: The Air Permitting Puzzle: Advanced New Source Review Case Studies Series 3 Pack Webinar (November 2014)

Advanced PSD/NSR Workshop Series: The Air Permitting Puzzle: Advanced New Source Review Case Studies Series 3 Pack Webinar (November 2014)
Based upon Gary McCutchen's Advanced New Source Review (NSR) Workshop, this new three-part webinar series guides participants through practical application of PSD/Nonattainment NSR air permitting concepts using examples and case studies. Participants receive a working knowledge of the basic PSD/NSR concepts, including PSD Program and Nonattainment NSR Applicability (including evaluating what constitutes a source and whether exemptions apply to a project); emissions increase calculations (Baseline Actual Emissions (BAE), Projected Actual Emissions (PAE) for projects, including new, existing, debottlenecked units and increased utilization netting; and two analyses: ambient air increment consumption and Best Available Control Technology (BACT). This Series is a follow-up to our recent Webinar Series Permitting the Majors (or "BACT to Basics"), and is recommended for mid- to upper-level consultants, industry officials, and regulators/permit writers. Because it builds on the basic information covered in the previous webinar, this webinar is recommended only for attendees of the previous webinar and persons already familiar with the basics of NSR. Mr. McCutchen suggested that participants view four documents he provided prior to the Webinar, and complete the exercises therein. The documents will be included with the webinar when downloaded. Please keep in mind that the exercises will take between 2-5 hours to complete. If there are several people viewing the webinar together, it is recommended for all to work together to complete the exercises. If a participant is unable to complete the exercises, he/she will still gain a lot of information from the webinar.
