ACE 2022 offers multiple presentation formats:
- Full Manuscript for Platform or Technical Poster
- Extended Abstract for Platform or Technical Poster
- Panel Session
- Slide Presentation Only for Platform or Technical Poster
Technical and Student Posters: Authors must submit a poster board in accordance with A&WMA guidelines for content and format.
Panel Sessions: Requires panel chair to recruit speakers and submit a 250-word Panel Synopsis describing the panel topic/goals listing panelists and their affiliations.
We have completed our preliminary conference planning, but we can still accept abstracts for technical posters and may be able to accommodate some technical platform presentations. About the Conference
A&WMA’s Annual Conference is recognized as the premier international conference of its kind providing the latest information on air, environmental justice, climate change, emerging contaminants such as PFAS, energy, sustainability, resource conservation, and waste management issues. The conference typically has over 300 platform and poster presentations, 35+ panel sessions, and up to 10 concurrent sessions each day.

Author Guidelines:
We are looking forward to seeing you at the A&WMA Annual Conference & Exhibition (ACE 2022), currently scheduled to be held as an in-person event in San Francisco, CA, USA.
A&WMA remains committed to the safety and well-being of our attendees, participants, and staff. We will continue to evaluate current conditions to ensure we adhere to all safety protocol. We are working with the hotel and event vendors to determine accommodations at the venue. If the need arises where you are unable to participate in person due to Covid protocol or documented travel restrictions, we will consider a variety of virtual presentation formats on a case by case basis, as long as we can maintain the integrity of the technical program.
