Anna Bokowa is the president of EOC Environmental Odour Consulting, a firm specializing in odour assessments and control with locations in Canada, Europe, and the USA. She has 32 years of experience in odour assessment and control, ambient monitoring, and odour project planning. Her expertise and experience in this field frequently lend her to serving as an expert witness in civil trials in Canada, Europe, and the US. Bokowa is also a sought-after professional educator who holds workshops in odour at international conferences. She has published more than 50 papers related to odour issues.
Raymond Porter, Senior Air Quality Meteorologist and Knowledge Leader with Envirosuite / Porter Odor Science
Raymond Porter is a Senior Air Quality Meteorologist and Knowledge Leader with Envirosuite / Porter Odor Science. He has a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and B.S. in Meteorology from the University of Lowell (UMass Lowell). Mr. Porter is a Member of the Air and Waste Management Association (A&WMA) and Chair of the Odor Committee (EE-ODR). He is also a member of Water Environment Federation (WEF) and Past Chair of the Air Quality and Odor Control Committee. Mr. Porter has been a principal of contributing author to WEF publications, including:
MOP-30 “Wastewater Solids Incineration System”, Chap. 3 Permitting and Emissions Regulations.
MOP-25 “Control of Odors and Emissions from Wastewater Treatment Plants”, Chap. 15, Atmospheric Dispersion Modeling of Odors and Air Emissions.
Angie Wanger, Managing Consultant, Trinity Consultants
Angie Wanger is a Managing Consultant at Trinity Consultants. She has a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology degree from Iowa State University. She is also Chair of the A&WMA Odor Technical Committee. She has worked with clients in private industry, municipal/county government, tribal government, and attorneys on odour projects. Her odour project work includes direct source sampling, modelling, field work, complaint response plans, expert testimony and litigation support. She has delivered webinar and classroom odour training and spoken at international conferences on odour topics.
Moderator: Mike McGinley, President and Laboratory Director, St. Croix Sensory
Mike McGinley is the President and Laboratory Director of St. Croix Sensory. He has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota and a Masters degree in Environmental Health Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health. He is a member of several industry organizations including WEF and ASTM. Mike’s work at St. Croix Sensory involves overseeing daily laboratory operations including environmental air and product odour evaluations, laboratory QA/QC, and manufacturing of odour testing products.
