Leadership Training Academy

A&WMA Volunteer Leaders—Get the tools you need to be an effective leader, plan engaging programs, and grow your section or chapter.
 

This program was created exclusively for our volunteers to strengthen your leadership skills, give you ideas that can be implemented within your local member units committees, councils, and boards, and provide you with outstanding networking opportunities.  

Nearly all of our current board members and committee chairs started their commitment to A&WMA with the Leadership Training Academy. This will be your connection to exciting ideas, essential tools, and exceptional people. 

How will your section or chapter become stronger this year?  Attend this workshop to develop a plan working with officers, staff, and other leaders as you learn how A&WMA operates, how you can become a better leader, and more. 

Your registration fee will cover all training sessions and materials, and food and beverages including Friday lunch, reception, and dinner, all three meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday morning. You will have plenty of time to network with other members and see some of the sights of Pittsburgh.
