Continuing Education

A&WMA offers lifelong learning, and many opportunities to earn continuing education credits for your hard work!

Those who participate in A&WMA events (conferences, courses, and webinars) may be eligible for continuing education credit. A&WMA offers a Certificate of Participation for courses, conferences, and webinars. 

Certificates of Participation must now be requested through the Online Store. 
Member Benefit (New in 2020!)  A&WMA members can order unlimited, free Certificates of Participation for courses, conferences, and webinars. Non-members must pay a $25 fee per certificate.

Continuing Education requirements vary according to profession and location of the licensing agency.  It is your
responsibility to determine if the activity meets your Continuing Education needs and to maintain documentation adequate to
support your decision to claim credit.

Make sure you sign the attendance sheet for all sessions/courses you attend at a conference. 
A&WMA Webinar Attendance Sheet (for groups)

After verifying registration and attendance, A&WMA will email your certificate within 10-14 business days.

Your Certificate of Participation from A&WMA will include the following information: 
  • Attendee name
  • Activity name, date, location and time (for webinars only)
  • Number of Professional Development Hours (PDHs) or Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
  • Signature of A&WMA staff member and issuance date
