Join the A&WMA Young Professionals Advisory Council for the November YPAC Coffee Break!
This program for A&WMA members provides a casual forum to interact directly with experts and fellow members on hot topics in the environmental industry. After a brief introduction from the featured speaker, members are invited to ask questions and participate in an open discussion.
This month, Georges Bou Saab, Ph.D., a transportation engineer at Arcadis and Chair of the Education Council at A&WMA, will share his career journey, discuss how transportation and environmental disciplines increasingly intersect, and provide insights into current trends shaping the future of mobility and vehicle emissions.
As transportation systems continue to evolve through emerging technologies, connected and automated vehicles, data analytics, and sustainability initiatives, environmental professionals have new opportunities to contribute to cleaner, safer, and more efficient communities. Topics will include the role of transportation professionals in addressing air quality challenges, the growing importance of data-driven decision-making, emerging mobility technologies, lessons learned from working with public agencies and research organizations, and practical advice for students and young professionals seeking to build rewarding careers in transportation, environmental consulting, and sustainability.
Please register for free to confirm your attendance. You will receive the virtual meeting link closer to the event date.
