Open Access
Taylor & Francis Inc., publisher of the Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association (JA&WMA), gives authors the option to publish open access via their Open Select publishing program, making it free to access online immediately on publication. Many funders mandate publishing your research via open access. Taylor & Francis Open Select gives you, your institution, or funder the option of paying an article publishing charge (APC) to make a paper open access. A&WMA members can receive a 36% discount off the APC (valid member ID and doscount code required). Please contact openaccess@tandf.co.uk if you would like to find out more.
The below resources are provided to help authors and researchers explore the opportunities of open access and open research and how they might contribute to greater exposure and impact of research:
• A brand new open access section of the publisher’s Author Services website includes information about what open access is, why researchers should consider making their work open access, and the options they can choose from when publishing in a journal published by Taylor & Francis.
• An episode of the publisher’s research podcast series, which is available via the Author Services website, focuses on open research. Issues tackled include: what open research is; how researchers can make their own work more open; and what the opportunities and challenges are of adopting more open research practices.
