Join us for the 11th A&WMA specialty conference on vapor intrusion!
Building off the momentum gathered during the ten previous meetings, this year’s vapor intrusion specialty conference will bring together internationally-recognized scientists, engineers, regulators, and attorneys to share research and solutions on the latest developments in the investigation and mitigation of the vapor intrusion (VI) pathway, including indicators and tracers, toxicology, system performance optimization, risk assessment, sampling and laboratory analysis, real estate transactions, and risk communication.
The conference will also address soil vapor and air quality issues (indoor, outdoor) associated with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), 1,4-dioxane, methane, TCE short-term toxicity, and other emerging contaminants (EC) and the effect that these ECs are having on property transactions.
Abstract Deadline: May 26, 2023
Share your knowledge and present at the premier conference on VI!
Abstracts are being sought which demonstrate innovative scientific approaches to the investigation and mitigation
of the vapor intrusion pathway and/or air quality, product safety, or merger and acquisition issues associated with emerging contaminants. The following topics are candidates for platform presentations and panel discussions:
- Vapor Intrusion Investigation
- Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) and Other Emerging Contaminants
- Regulatory Considerations, Mitigation Strategies, Risk Management and Legal/Insurance Issues
